This fantasy novel follows the journey of twelve year-old percy jackson as he learns that he son of poseidon,greek god of the sea.He must go on a quest to retrieve Zeus's master bolt in order to prevent war between Zeus,Poseidon and Hades which could destroy all of Western civilization.

One day Percy  and Grover went to the museum with their school when they were there some things happen when they were having lunch one person  fell into a small pond and blamed it on Percy then Mrs Dodd the maths teacher call over Percy and went inside while they were walk in side Mrs Dodds turn into a devil for the underworld and tried to kill Percy but got save by Grover and Mr Bunner then once percy got back home Grove got Percy's mum to drive them to camp half blood Percy was confused because Grover was a satyr while they were drive a minorter try to kill Percy but Grover and Percy made  it but the minotaur captured his mum then Percy jump on to it back and kill it before passing out he  was knock out for a few days.

Once percy got back he had a talk with Mr Bunner who was at camp half blood and he was half horse then that night they had capture the flag and they won. After a week Percy found out that he was son of Poseidon  Few weeks later the gods were get angry because someone had stolen the lighting bolt and they had ten day to get it to the god all of the god thought it was percy so he was sent to deliver the lighting bolt back.before Percy was leaving with annabeth and grover luke present then with flying shoes.then they leave while their try to get to hermes they drop past the hollywood casino while they were in their they were eating thing what make minutes be hours so then they have only have one day left so they run out side and jump into a taxi and told him to drive as fast as he could to the hollywood sign they zoomed up there as fast as lighting.

Once they got in the underworld there was no turning back then they walk up to hades and Percy said give back my mother and the volt but Percy get the volt and promised his mother that he will come back to get her so they went the olympus to return the volt once they did that.Percy returns to camp where he ,annabeth and grover and lauded as heroes.Percy then finds out that his mother is back and safe.Percy happily leaves camp with his mum.

The reason why i have done this is because we have been doing a reading challenge over the term and we have to try read as many books as possible and this is one of them.

Inquiry

  This term we have been doing appreciation about maori art and i chose carving.As a class we had to think of a question which we don't know and find an expert.This is my question.Dose different wood matter when you're carving?Well the softer the wood the easier to carve the wood so if you have hard wood it is harder to hit the chisel into it.So i'm going to explain to you how i learn't to carve well first you get some wood then you get the stencils what you want and then draw it on to the wood and once you have finish the stencil you get the chisel and hit away at it with the chisel then once you have finish that you scoop it out then you're finished. So that how i learn't to carve.  

Reading challenge

This is my comic about  the book magic finger by Roald Dahl .I have done this because it was one of our reading challenges over the term. We have been doing  reading challenges and there are also other one for us to do once we have finished a book.

Term 4 week 3 writing

                                                                          This week my writing goal was show not tell and this is a caption of it.Why do we get so bound up in the fortunes of a bunch of you men, who wrestle in the mud for an oval ball which you just run with to the try line.That was a small part of my writing goal

This is my writing what i have done this week,and each week we have a goal this week my goal is using vocabulary to support my writing-subject specific.I think i completed it, but i think i still need to work  more on it.

It has been fun making the scribble bot because i learnt how to solder and see how they work.

They took over 3 weeks to make but it has been very fun to make them and watch them fly away.

Persuasion map

I'm going to tell you why passion fruit is the healthiest fruit around ,and this is why i'm here to argue that passion fruit is the healthiest fruit.
My opinion is how they help your body,because of the rich source of potassium,minerals,vitamin and fiber this is how they help.The potassium is a important component of your cells and body fluids.Vitamin helps your eye sight get better and help your body develop resistance against flu like infection and free radicals ,which are thing which try to unpair thing in your body.Fiber is good because it help remove cholesterol from your body.
It is certain i know passion fruit is better than mandarin because passion fruit grows all year round in the USA and can make juice,ice cream,desserts,cakes,and mousse out of passion fruit.
So there you go that's why i know passion fruit is the healthiest fruit because of all the v words and other things.






                                                      

At Mount Maunganui

On easter day in the holidays Charlie ,Jack and i went biscuiting at Mount Maunganui. We went because the water was clear , smooth and just the right water for biscuiting on a easter day.

First we pulled the sandy wet boat out of the old garage ,then we put on our tight body glove wet suits on ,which we found them under 1000's of other things. Then we heard mum calling ,lunch ,lunch so us three ran to the table to find a big fest and then we jumped into and started to eat after that we had hoped into the car and drove down to the port of Tauranga  and dropped the boat into the smooth water.

we hoped onto the sandy wet stabicraft and zoomed across the harbour to the other side to drop off some gear, for if we fell of.

Then Charlie ,Jack and i jumped onto the biscuit then the boat started moving, WOOSH the biscuit moved as the boat picked up speed and zoom around the harbour with us three on the back the we do some sharp corners and get some air then SLASH 

Jack fly's off skimming the water like a stone ,then we stopped and jack got back on again, then we went back to the beach and headed home and got some food.

New Zealand pine trees

New Zealand has very good condition for growing pine trees because of the pumice in our soil and the mild climate change.Pine trees make up 7% of New Zealand.When pine trees are cut down they get used for house material like roof frames,frames,fence poles,and for inside homes.After you plant the trees ,up to 4 meters and at or around 7 years the trees maybe pruned up to 6.5 meters that aloudes the trees to be knot free wood in the lower part of the tree.

once the trees are 25-35 years old the final number of trees are harvested.That goes to be building materials or supports.So there you go that's what happen's to pine trees and the reason they use pine is because it's cheap to buy and good.

Photovoltaic Panel

Photovoltaic panels are solar panels. But they do one different thing than other panels like turn the sun's power straight into power the other panels don't turn it straight into power it heat's your water.But you probably want to know how they work .
Well the sun shines down onto the PV panels which then goes through a circuit then transforms it into electricity then when the light energy strikes the solar cell,electrons are knocked loose from the atoms,and if the electricity is attached to the positive and negative side forming electricity which turns lights on.

So there it is, that's how PV panels work.So now you know how it works, you could go ahead and get solar panels so your power bill drops.

ANZAC Biscuits

It was Anzac day coming up

 so our teacher got us to write a procedure of Anzac biscuits

Ingredients

• 1 cup of oats 
• 1 cup of flour 
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 egg
• Half a cup of coconut
• 2 and a half teaspoons of baking soda with 4 teaspoons of hot water
• 120 grams of butter 
• 2 table spoons of golden syrup 
•                                                                                                         
• Step 1. pour the oats,flour ,sugar,coconut and the egg into a bowl and mix it up                                
• Step 2 next get another bowl and put the butter and the golden syrup in the bowl and put it in the microwave for 1 minute then stir
• Step 3 Get a cup and put the baking soda and hot water then stir then stir it up.
• Step 4 then add the baking soda bowl to the with the oats then add the butter bowl into the oats bowl.
• Step 5 then stir thoroughly after get a tray out and put baking paper over it the make little balls with your hands the put them on the tray and then flatten them.
• Step 6 next put them in the oven and cook at 180.c and enjoy.

George was a caring elderly man who had two little googly eyes looking at you.His nose was like a long straight road and from the side it was like a ski jump. His mouth  looked like a half moon on his mouth.His chin and skin dropped down his face like a melting ice-cream.George walked along like a turtle. His smile was like a child who's getting ice-cream.
